Rats Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 Well I had off today, which means my wife gets to go to work and I have the triplets... Oh yeah did I mention we have triplets??! 2 lads and a lass whom just turned 2 years old on newyears eve! So while they were napping, I put in POTC1 and eventually fell asleep myself... I woke up to find all three had gotten up and were watching the big sea battle between the Pearl and the Interceptor!!! Now they sing "Yoho yoho Pirates life for me... Aaaarrr!" (yes even the little girl liked it!!! Looks like I have the start of a crew on my hands!! Just had to share!! Here's to ya! Rats No rest for the wicked! Wait a minute... that's me?!
Cheeky Actress Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 Being a 'multiple' myself Rats, all I can say is that you should be very...very concerned when you don't see or hear the likes of your little pyrates-in-the-making! Though they have a 'built-in' playmate (and I'm sure those of you who have multiples know of what I speak), you can see the wheels turning whilst the other one(s) are just nodding in agreement! The family still talks about the "Great Dryer Caper" of '69...but that's another story... Member of "The Forsaken"
Lady Alyx Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 and perhaps one of these to start the training right.... Pirateship Treehouse ~~~~Sailing Westward Bound~~~~ Lady Alyx
blackjohn Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 I knew #1 Son was on the right path the first time we had a light saber duel in the aisle of target. I knew #2 Son was on the right path when... wow... countless times... he loves to fiddle with the pirate knickknacks I have in the library... and he loves to speak like a robot and pretend practically anything is a jet or rocketship! Fwiw, I am quite proud of Son #1. Each month at his school they focus on a particular character trait, picking someone that exemplifies that trait to get there pic on the Kids With Character wall. Back in December he got picked... as a kid with compassion. I thought that was pretty cool. My Home on the Web The Pirate Brethren Gallery Dreams are the glue that holds reality together.
