My daughter had hair down to her bum... now she's lopped part of it off to mid back... what a handful that can be, especially when she runs out of conditioner... Cpt Sophia M Eisley
lol...yikes on the daughter's hair! I'm aiming for waist length (mine's below mid-back now), and surprisingly I've past the point where my hair was a cumbersome nightmare. I'm one who doesn't use conditioner much. Maybe once a week. Down here in FL, it tends to make my hair greasy or feel weighed down. I need to get over my initial giddiness concerning my summer trip to Scotland. Have a few things that are still in the works (i.e. getting my favorite guide to cover the tour I'm facilitating) that are causing my traveling companions to squee in delight, causing me to squee...and to keep myself up late continuing to...well, you get the point. Good things happen, then I can't sleep. Jeez that's silly. Perhaps we'll meet again under better circumstances. ---(---(@ Dead Men...Tell No Tales. Welcome, Foolish Mortals... Red Cat Jenny
Enjoy the excitement Sophia! Have had hair down to my waist since I was 8. Wouldn't know what to do with short hair. Fun to wear it all different ways. Conditioner? I should have shares in Nexxus Humectress..but it smells like vacation..ahhh. I must sleep...I really must...um...what was I just saying? I forgot because I'm tired.. Gosh. ok I'm wimping out at 3:15 Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.... Her reputation was her livelihood. I'm a pirate, love. CrazyCholeBlack
so what's an insomniac to do when it's late at night & they are bored? On the hair issue, my little swab's is waist length currently (never been cut actually). We "wash" with conditioner weekly & save actual soap for when there is something in it. Works like a charm. So long as it's brushed daily and/or braided at all times, it's never a problem. "If part of the goods be plundered by a pirate the proprietor or shipmaster is not entitled to any contribution." Silkie McDonough
My hairs long as it's been in years (about shoulder length). I can never seem to allow it to grow very long and usually get it lopped off before too long but this time I'm determined to get it to mid back ...I hope I can grow it that long and that the curls are still as springy. Cpt Sophia M Eisley
Much luck to yah Silkie on your hair growing adventure. The more mine grows, the harder it is to keep the curl in. When I step out of the shower and give my locks a towel dry (and sometimes a little bit of a product called Recoil) my curl will keep longer. But most of the time the weight of it pulls it straighter. Makes it look a little like an 80's hair band by the end of the day...I don't know if that's a good or bad thing. I'm probably gonna be up late tonight...got a weekly IM session with a group of fellow students (course project). Following that I'm sure I'll be tinkering with my camcorder...gotta get a video recording offa that and onto my laptop to cut and alter to my hearts content. Perhaps we'll meet again under better circumstances. ---(---(@ Dead Men...Tell No Tales. Welcome, Foolish Mortals...
