Hester Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 I discovered Alize Gold Passion cognac & passionfruit liqueur this summer: Too good to mix with anything. So, I had it all on its own, on the rocks, in a giant martini glass, decorated with a pineapple wedge. Goes down even smoother than a rum cooler, but ouch -- it's a bit pricey. I also took my blender with me to the cottage, and mixed Bacardi's frozen Strawberry Daquiri mix with Appleton Estate V/X Jamaican rum. Oh, yum! I went through several blender-fuls of this stuff. Now ... it's all on my hips!

Buffalo Milk 1 Shot Vodka 1/4 Shot Dark Creme de Cacao 1/4 Shot Light Creme de Cacao 1/2 Shot Kahlua 1/2 Shot Half & Half 1/2 Fresh Banana Ice Whipped Cream Nutmeg Fill a tall glass with ice. Blend the ice and the first six ingredients until smooth. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with nutmeg. Then sip the drink an sit on the beach an watch the world go by!
Hester Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 Oooh - Alize Gold Passion cognac and passionfruit liqueur! Jack and I discovered it awhile back - no, you don't want to mix it with anything. It's way too good on its own! The woman in line ahead of me at the liquor store bought Alize Gold Passion and St. Remy Napoleon brandy. I wanted to ask her if she intended to mix them together in a cocktail, but I was too shy to ask. (Secretly, I'm shy.)
