Blackeye Susan Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 Haven't posted recently, but I'm just starting to learn how to knit and crochet and I'm looking for a pattern for a pirate flag, either skull and crossbones or the Jack Rackham. Anyone know where I could find one? It's kind of a joke novelty prop for my crew. * * blackeye susan
Black Syren Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 My family crochets a whole lot..I have never seen a pattern for such as this but my mom makes ehr own patterns so it should not be too difficult if you know quite a bit about crocheting. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v519/Dara286/trident01-11.png If you got a dream chase it, cause a dream won't chase you back...(Cody Johnson Till you Can't)

MajorChaos Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 You should see the flag (3'x5') flag made my my friend Elizabeth for an xmas gift. It looks like my avatar. CrazyCholeBlack Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 Aren't there programs where they convert your design to a pattern? There must be because my friend crocheted a leatherface blanket reciently & I doubt *that* came from a commercial pattern . If you could find one of those then you could make what ever design you wanted. Or you could do it the old fashioned way with graph paper. Capn_Enigma Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 Oh dear, when I saw the thread's name "Pirate Crochet", I thought it was a question about "Capitaine Crochet", which is the French name of Captain Hook "The floggings will continue until morale improves!"
Lady Alyx Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 No way for reals? ~~~~Sailing Westward Bound~~~~ Lady Alyx
