Fox Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 I've got half a dozen of these, smaller, more practical fids for sale. I'm asking £10/$20 + p&p. I also have a couple of the huge ones left if anyone is interested. William Brand Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 What type of wood are you using? Can you do darker stains?
Fox Posted January 1, 2007 Author Posted January 1, 2007 I'm not making them, they're a job-lot I just picked up. I don't know what the wood is but looking at them my guess would be something like beech. They're lightly varnished, but it shouldn't be too much effort to sand one down and apply a darker stain. Tall Paul Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 Hi Ed, Could you set one of those aside for me? I will collect it at the SWPF. Many thanks, Paul. Cpt "Tall Paul" Adams Colchester Historical Enactment Society (C.H.E.S.)
Fox Posted January 6, 2007 Author Posted January 6, 2007 No problem Paul. Yay! SWPF beer money! capnwilliam Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 I'll take one, Foxe. And could you run a pic of the bigger ones? Capt. William "The fight's not over while there's a shot in the locker!"
Fox Posted January 30, 2007 Author Posted January 30, 2007 Your wish is my command (originally posted in THIS THREAD). I've PM'd you about the smaller one.
