Black Syren
I had this posted in Rabble Rousing and Patrick Hand suggested I ask here as well... My mother in law is a schoolteacher and when class resumes this January she will teach on the American Revolution. Since most of you are Historical Re-enactors and so forth I am coming to you for aid in links and other sites of intrest she can prepare for her class. If you can aid me I would greatly appreciate it and so would she. ~Siren~ http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v519/Dara286/trident01-11.png If you got a dream chase it, cause a dream won't chase you back...(Cody Johnson Till you Can't)
kass
Hi Siren, I don't know what kind of information you're looking for, but there is a great bunch of articles on 18th century dress by my friend, Mara Riley. Here's her website. The Brigade of the American Revolution is a Rev War group that has tons of information on the common soldiers in that period. And this links page should keep you going for days. Is that the kind of thing you're looking for? Kass Building an Empire... one prickety stitch at a time!

the Royaliste
The common scuttle is that the American Revolution was fought on land and won at sea. Since we teach Rev War history at sea, I heartily reccommend the link from our website, Rev War on the Frontier These folks are great, with knowlege spanning the frontier waterway accross three wars......
