Christine Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 I just heard about this news and was so saddened by it. Here's the article on it: http://movies.msn.com/movies/article.aspx?...GT1=7701&vv=410 RIP Jack, thank you for some great movies.
Blackfoot Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 I did not hear of this until now. Thank you Christine for telling us. I am a big "Doors" fan and Jack Palance was Jim Morrison's favorite all-time actor. May he rest in peace. ]
Cap'n Pete Straw Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 I learned about this when I turned on my computer (Comcast Home Page), and was pretty sure Christine would be starting this thread. I loved Jack Palance. Great, great actor. Don't you think he would have made a great pirate? To the best of my knowledge, he never appeared in a pirate movie (I checked ... but maybe I'm wrong). Appeared in "Batman," though. So: still cool. Great actor. "He's a Pirate dancer, He dances for money, Any old dollar will do... "He's a pirate dancer, His dances are funny... 'Cuz he's only got one shoe! Ahhrrr!"

jim hawkins Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 He also played Attila the Hun and Jesus! He was in some great sci/fantasy crap: Gor Outlaw of Gor Hawk the slayer Buck Rogers RIP
Scupper Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 Another great actor gone. My hat is off, my flag at half mast. You will be missed. Scupper "That's the navy for you. Rum in the scuppers today. Blood in the scuppers tomorrow."Thrist is a shameless disease. So here's to a shameful cure!"Loyalty, honesty and directness are traits I admire. Insecurity, snipes and disrespect I will not tolerate in the least."
