Mad Eye Mitch
Ahoy all mates, Mad Eye Mitch is staring in, "Curse of Pirate Death". A new DVD by Brain Damage Films. I play Pirate Death who is killed by my crew but not before my witchy girlfriend places a spell in order to resorect my corps. 300 years later college students find the treasure and awake The Curse of Pirate Death! I also finished directing, "Pirates of Ghost Island". This movie is about a mysterious island. When 6 young adults are washed up on shore find themselfs trying to stay alive while Cannibalistic Pirates, Deamons and Ghost kill them off one by one. It has VooDoo, Sorcery and Cascabel, who plays a very convincing pirate. Now, I'm just confused, as it apparently refers to a type of chili pepper. Did you perhaps mean "Cabbalah"? Cheers, Hester

Cascabel is an AMAZING Pirate re enactor that does gigs all over the country. He was at this last Ojai Faire and we had the honor of having him on our Stage at Port of New Providence. Just ask Ace of Harbor Bay... He's a wonderful orator and black powder guy and once you've seen him perform in all his splendor you never forget him! I'm not sure what his gig is with this production... but he can only raise it up to a higher quality. He really is something to watch! Well, you may not realize it but your looking at the remains of what was once a very handsome woman!
Red Maria
Yes Cascabal is a real mench as we say in Yiddish. :) For those of you who don't know Yiddish mench means a really good person. His lady is a mench too. :)

Iron Bess
Thanks Iron Bess & Red Maria,These gals have class! Let me be clear please, I was trying to make sure no one thought that a fine entertainer ( and human being) such as Cascabel was an herb plant. I am making no personal comment on the film's quality or it's genre. Well, you may not realize it but your looking at the remains of what was once a very handsome woman! Black Hearted Pearl
Aye mateys, I've seen "Pirates of the Great Salt Lake" and met the writers and directors. Also having been baptised mormon, I can honestly say, this movie is not about religion. It's about people who decide to embrace the piratical lifestyle and are shunned by their family and peers for doing so. In the end, the story vindicates the pirate lovers. I shan't tell you anymore as the writers and producers are in talking stages for major distribution. It is a fun sincere movie worth seeing. I think we all will be able to relate to it. ~Black Hearted Pearl The optimist expects the wind. The pessimist complains about the wind. The realist adjusts the sails. oderlesseye
I'd like to add that NQG gave a good review of Pirates of the great salt lake. http://www.myspace.com/oderlesseyehttp://www.facebook....esseye?ref=nameHangin at Execution dock awaits. John_Young
Well I wouldn't put too much faith in that review honestly. While I do not doubt that Pirates of the Great Salt Lake is a good movie... a lot of things submitted to NQG are by people connected... plus they have been known to be wrong with some things. Kenneth
At the last pirate faire in Ojai, Cascabel was walking out of a camp and wouldn't stop mad dogging me! Even though I'm taller and younger and have watched way more Kung Fu movies than he ever will in his entire life....He kinda scared me.... in a good way! True story. I better work on my pirate glare, cause the baby face squint thing isn't working! Cascabel, can you help me out on this one?
