Gentleman of Fortune
Ugghhh.... Just how nearby is it? This sucks as last years TORM was great, and this can't help but pull vendors away! Anyone from the Isles car to give your take on these competing Events? Foxe? Tall Paul????? Anyone???? Greg aka GOF Come aboard my pirate re-enacting site http://www.gentlemenoffortune.com/ Where you will find lots of information on building your authentic Pirate Impression! kass
Well, Greg, it's unlikely to pull vendors away now because as I hear it, the Living History Fayre was created by vendors who weren't approved to sell at TORM. They schedule it opposite TORM on purpose so vendors have to choose one or the other. I'm given to understand that TORM is a little later period and NLHF is more medieval. And TORM is a little more stringent in their standards (but, of course, this was told to me by a vendor at TORM, so take it with that particular bias in mind). I'm going to both because they're only something like 10 miles away from each other and I have wholesale customers at each. :) Building an Empire... one prickety stitch at a time!
