Mr Depp is pretty as hell, but its not what I look for for real romance/ lustbunnies..

Get me to smile, give me a chocolatey drink, entertain me with stories, then that goes for a lot in me book...

slow dance to a song about ships and moons, tell me about how you got that delicious scar, let me beat ya in a game of darts, share a basket of fries...

Merry stealthly stashes the stake she stole from Doc's silver chest. Smiling, she slips silently away, shaking a slew of silver in her shirt pocket.

Jacky stops a cabana boy, "Lad I want ye t' take a chocolate shake and fries, over t' Merrydeath's cabana, and deliver it wit' a smile!"

"Oh yes, put it on her tab, since she lifted silver from Doc." Jacky gives the lad a doubloon.

the way to a pirates heart ye ask? In my case it's through several layers of fabric, preferably Irish linen or silk.

Romance, I like a bit of romance. Seems that's kinda dead these days. That doesn't mean ya haveta write me sloppy poems, send big red heart boxes full of fattening chocolate, or suffer through a chick-flick. It's little, personal things that let a girl know she's special, that you took the time to think about her. Guys can never go wrong with a bit o' romance.

Jacky sits takin' notes: chocolate (white, I believe), no sloppy poems, chick flicks ('Sleepless in Seattle', 'Maid in Manhatten', check... check...). Is this romance or a shoppin' list?

How 'bout openin' carriage doors, pickin' wild flowers (or Trader Joe's), an makin' dinner fer two (or reservations at Tsunami Kates)?

Nay, Mr. Tar, ya missed a key word in there "doesn't " I said that ya didn't need any of those things...okay, maybe the white chocolate.

But your suggestions are just the thing I meant.

I have always been a sucker for two things..an accent and a tricorn...

In school when we learned about the Colonies, there was a picture in the book of a man in a long coat with a sword and a tricorn hat...*sigh* I think it was my first crush..lol

Maybe he was really a pirate...
