JohnnyTarr Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 Ok I have seen a lot of you saying that a photo has been done up by photoshop. Now I have a challange for you all. Well let the votes begin. Git up of your asses, set up those glasses I'm drinking this place dry.
Blue Mermaid Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 It is too small to tell for sure... but I would have to say yes...photoshopped
JohnnyTarr Posted September 20, 2006 Author Posted September 20, 2006 I will have to enlarge it. I did not know how big the Pic would be when posted. Git up of your asses, set up those glasses I'm drinking this place dry.
Patrick Hand Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 It's way to small to tell..... There is a slight "blur" at the back... but with such a small picture... can't tell anything........
Silkie McDonough Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 Could be water between the forground and background land mass. Again, too small to tell.
JohnnyTarr Posted September 20, 2006 Author Posted September 20, 2006 I can not enlarge the photo with the programs I have. If you right click and save it to your computer maybe you can enlarge it. Other wise this is going to be a bust of a game. Git up of your asses, set up those glasses I'm drinking this place dry.
Themarko Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 I think it's not Photoshop! I've seen pictures before of aircraft carriers going through the Suez canal and they looked a lot like that. :)
PirateSSe Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 I enlarged the picture. Detail is always lost when doing this.
Charity Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 Without looking at other's answers (Honestly) i would say no, it's real. It looks to me as if there's a sandbank with a river behind it and since the ship is in the river behind the bank it looks as if it's on the sand :)
oderlesseye Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 Ney! I believe the land mass to be a pennensula / how ever yas spell the thing... The ship can also be in a canal. http://www.myspace.com/oderlesseyehttp://www.facebook....esseye?ref=nameHangin at Execution dock awaits. May yer Life be a long and joyous adventure in gettin there! As he was about to face the gallows there, the pirate is said to have tossed a sheaf of papers into the crowd, taunting his audience with these final words: "My treasure to he who can understand."
JohnnyTarr Posted September 25, 2006 Author Posted September 25, 2006 Well I will give you all 4 more days to guess then I will tell ya. Git up of your asses, set up those glasses I'm drinking this place dry.
Charity Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 I thougth that too, peninsula with a channel behind it but.. that's not sand..i didn't notice before but there seem to be bulletholes in the white surface.. It's more like rock..hmm..I'll do some more thinking and looking :)
Black Syren Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 I think it's real as well.. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v519/Dara286/trident01-11.png If you got a dream chase it, cause a dream won't chase you back...(Cody Johnson Till you Can't)
The Doctor Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Too pixellated to tell. The artifacting from the enlargement would hide most telltale signs. Yo ho ho! Or does nobody actually say that?
JohnnyTarr Posted October 5, 2006 Author Posted October 5, 2006 This didn't work out as well as I would have hoped but: It is real. This is the USS Esinhower in the Suez canal. The Ike is in the main channel and I am in a hellacopter low over a passing channel. Git up of your asses, set up those glasses I'm drinking this place dry.
oderlesseye Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Ney! I believe the land mass to be a pennensula / how ever yas spell the thing... The ship can also be in a canal. Eyes be siezing the prize now... thanx http://www.myspace.com/oderlesseyehttp://www.facebook....esseye?ref=nameHangin at Execution dock awaits.
