Cascabel Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 Heads up, Shipmates..... I just submitted the third and last part of my three part article on how to work with flintlocks to No Quarter Given. Very in-depth and useful info for taking the mystery out of getting reliable performance out of flintlocks. With this info, you will never again think of flintlocks as un-reliable. The first two parts have already been published, and I suspect that the last part will be in the next issue. >>>>> Cascabel
Captain Midnight Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 Aye, and the first two articles were magnificent, a treasure trove of valuable information! I know the third one will be just as wonderful, and I eagerly await reading it. Thanks Cascabel! "Now then, me bullies! Would you rather do the gallows dance, and hang in chains 'til the crows pluck your eyes from your rotten skulls? Or would you feel the roll of a stout ship beneath your feet again?" ---Captain William Kidd--- (1945)
Barber-surgeon Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 Grand thanks to ye, Cascabel! Admittedly, 'twas yer demonstration at the L.O.R.E. workshop with yer blunderbuss that has since led me mate astray. Will include pictures from the up-coming Tall Ships, so ye can sees what I mean! Cheers "Don't worry, it's not My Blood!"
