My husband and I might be going with a group of friends. I like the area better, since last time there was terrible dust and noise there.. and the Elvis songs on the radio wasn't their fault either, but it was too distracting. I'll be at the charming and new faire at the amanas, with Mistress Bawd and the Jousters, the DAnza Mystique, and others of fame and renouwn.. Pirate Lass with sass, brass, a cutlass, an a nice *ss. The website says that it has been moved to memorial day weekend and no longer in september. I would much rather go to that as well because it is a lot closer to me than Des Moines. That one was NAMED the International Ren Faire and it won't be there. but luckily there will A REN FAIRE there but not by the same group.. This one is by the people who had the Osceola faires.. and fun they are! if you go, look for me in the tent area. I'll be the one with the a frame tent, two person.
