Rateye Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 OK I was wondering if there are any kinds of sandals (rope or otherwise) which could be used for GAoP. I'm also wondering if there were any kinds of ankle or work boots more like brogans durig the GAoP? That ankle support would be nice for all day walking! Rats
Fox Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 If you look at my recent boot thread there's a photo of a 1703 ankle boot from HMS Stirling Castle :) Foxe"With this Fore-Staff he fansies he does Wonders, when, God knows, it amounts to no more but only to solve that simple Question, Where are we? MadMike Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 Haven't found anything yet regarding the authenticity of Gurkee style "rope sandals" as appropriate to the GAOP...
