Cap'n Pete Straw
For the record, I am NOT packing a lunch. Gonna get all my nourishment from the vendors. (Okay.. the bitterness is wearing off now...) I am working on a cloaking device that shields me from security guards. (sorry... perhaps not all gone yet...) Rateye, I will bring shackles as well as my Queen Anne. However, as stated (elsewhere?) I don't plan on lugging them around all day, so unless we arrive at the same time, you'll have to wait until I leave to see them. The Queen Anne does not have a belt clip, so it is unlikely I will elect to carry it as my sidearm. (I plan to carry as little as possible.) Reginald Killingsworth
I am thinking of traveling to see my Brother-in-law in the states this weekend. He lives in Oak Brook, IL. How far is this Faire from the Chicago Area? Allow me to be frank at the commencement; You will not like me...â„¢
Cap'n Pete Straw
Oakbrook? Oakbrook! Good Lord, you are probably closer to the Faire than am I! Interstate 94 North to the Wisconsin border; first exit (Russell Road) follow the signs. You have between and hour to a 90 minute drive -- tops. It all depends on how long it takes you to get to the expressway (94). Need further information? Check out their website, which has directions, or PM me. Advance tickets (you can purchase them that same morning online before you leave the house) save you a couple bucks ... AAA card at the door saves you more. ALERT! ALERT! Save $8.95 on admission this final weekend only! See the ONLINE COUPON "He's a Pirate dancer, He dances for money, Any old dollar will do... "He's a pirate dancer, His dances are funny...
