William Blydes
Any one going to the Pirate Festival at Fort York in Toronto? The evening of the 26th Aug is a 19+ only event. Night of Jolly Rogering I've ordered my ticket, and there is only a limited amount. Taken from the website: Daytime's for swinging from the rigging and games in the sun, but the night is when pirates really cut loose. Join us in The Thirsty Parrot Tavern for our Night of Jolly Rogering. An evening of bawdy Pirate drinking songs, buxom wenches, dangerous stunts, and enough laughter to fill your poop deck. Your host for the Night is Zoltan the Adequate Pirate, who will present Extreme Acts of Stupidity (and maybe end up with a hook hand or two). Joining him will be several special guests, surprises, beer, ale, wine, and our own band of scurvy dogs that put the 'Buck' in Buccaneer. You must be 19 or older to attend this closed party event (ID will be checked at the door), and all for a paltry $10 (plus regular admission to The Pirate Festival). The night starts when the festival closes - don't miss out, 'cause who doesn't like a good Jolly Rogering...? William Blydes I don't get lost, I EXPLORE! Adventures on the High Seas (refitted and back on station!)
Hester
Drat! I'm going to be out of town for a month starting this Friday, and I'll miss the entire festival. Luckily, the website claims this is the first ANNUAL pirate festival, so perhaps I'll get another chance to go next year: http://www.thepiratefestival.com/index.html Fort York's so cool!
