Hester Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 Hi: I'm wondering if there are any cruise lines that do pirate-themed packages, prefereably on actual sailing ships. I'd only be interested in such cruises if they were targeted specifically at an adult-only demographic (which counts out the Disney cruises). Perhaps a couples-only cruise? If anyone knows of such cruises, please let me know. Cheers, Hester

Hester Posted August 8, 2006 Author Posted August 8, 2006 Hester, try this place: http://www.windjammer.com/theme_cruises.html#0Their pirates cruise starts Sunday! Hi, Themarko: Thanks, that's kinda close to what I'm thinking of, but perhaps a tad too raunchy. I'd probably be more comfortable on a cruise for the Captain Twill set. Cheers, Hester
The Doctor Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 Feast your eyes on this, love - Mirth and Merriment Cruise Well, our airfare is booked, as is our hotel, so I guess we're committed to this adventure! Now, if I can only find enough pyrates to help me take the bridge... Yo ho ho! Or does nobody actually say that?
Rummy3 Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 WooHoo that cruise sounds divine. A bit close to our trip to Ireland - but I know you'll have a blast indeed! Take lots of pictures. A group of faire friends here will all be on a Mexican cruise in the end of September. We're planning to dress as pirates and I know that one will be FUN too!

hurricane Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 Not exactly a cruise but definitely piratey. We're going on this tomorrow to dive a 1660's galleon that lies just off Jupiter Florida in about 30 feet of water (and silt). Anyone can go, even non divers as they have aquanauts aboard as well. Should be fun! http://www.adventureindiscovery.com/spend_...arch_vessel.htm -= Hurricane -- Hurricane ______________________________________________________________________ http://piratesofthecoast.com/images/pyracy-logo1.jpg Captain of The Pyrates of the Coast Author of "Memoirs of a Buccaneer: 30 Year Before the Mast" (Published in Fall 2011) Scurrilous Rogue Stirrer of Pots Fomenter of Mutiny Bon Vivant & Roustabout Part-time Carnival Barker Certified Ex-Wife Collector Experienced Drinking Companion "I was screwed.
