Cap'n Pete Straw Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 Was that sone from the pirate episode of Lazytown ? I would love to get that as a ringtone on my phone! "He's a Pirate dancer, He dances for money, Any old dollar will do... "He's a pirate dancer, His dances are funny... 'Cuz he's only got one shoe! Ahhrrr!"
PyratePhil Posted August 6, 2006 Author Posted August 6, 2006 Oh, I have no idea, Pete - I'm not much of a media mogul - I just surf, and when I find something I like on the Net, I post it. Sorry. ...Qui desiderat pacem, praeparet bellum... ~ Vegetius
Cap'n Pete Straw Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 My son came in and asked me why I was playing "that song from Lazytown," so this is the same one. He then recalled -- and sang -- the rest of the lyrics. This was the first ever episode of Lazytown I ever saw, and I thought it was the greatest kid's show ever. Then I learned that the Pirate theme was just the one episode. BTW, I have been on the computer (again) for about a half-hour now, and I have that window open, which has played and replayed that brief Pirate clip about a hundred times now. "Yahr har, Fiddle dee dee, being a pirate is alright to me..." I gotta get that as a ringtone... "He's a Pirate dancer, He dances for money, Any old dollar will do... "He's a pirate dancer, His dances are funny... 'Cuz he's only got one shoe! Ahhrrr!"
PyratePhil Posted August 6, 2006 Author Posted August 6, 2006 Heh, heh - addictive, isn't it? ...Qui desiderat pacem, praeparet bellum... ~ Vegetius
JohnnyTarr Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Yes a ringtone would be great. How can we steal it? Git up of your asses, set up those glasses I'm drinking this place dry.
PyratePhil Posted August 7, 2006 Author Posted August 7, 2006 Get inventive...get pyrate! ...Qui desiderat pacem, praeparet bellum... ~ Vegetius
Cap'n Pete Straw Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 Sang the damned song all day yesterday... "He's a Pirate dancer, He dances for money, Any old dollar will do... "He's a pirate dancer, His dances are funny... 'Cuz he's only got one shoe! Ahhrrr!"

PyratePhil Posted August 8, 2006 Author Posted August 8, 2006 Pat, you know about Swish, right? The Poor-Man's Flash? Swish $100 for a great piece of studio software that makes Flash ani's. ...Qui desiderat pacem, praeparet bellum... ~ Vegetius
Patrick Hand Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 I'll have to look at it (booked marked it) ...... dang Adobie is to expensive..... But Wot I could do with a good a aniimation Program..... Bwwwwaaaahaahahahahhah.....
Cap'n Pete Straw Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 William the Bloody (who has posted in this thread) has Flash, and uses it like it's going out of style. I think his signature line has a link to some of his animations. Now if he just created some Pirate-themed animations, Pyrate Phil would link to it in an instant! "He's a Pirate dancer, He dances for money, Any old dollar will do... "He's a pirate dancer, His dances are funny... 'Cuz he's only got one shoe! Ahhrrr!"
PyratePhil Posted August 8, 2006 Author Posted August 8, 2006 OK, I get the hint. ...Qui desiderat pacem, praeparet bellum... ~ Vegetius
Cap'n Pete Straw Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 In all honesty, I was hoping for Wiliam the Bloody to get the hint. William? "He's a Pirate dancer, He dances for money, Any old dollar will do... "He's a pirate dancer, His dances are funny... 'Cuz he's only got one shoe! Ahhrrr!"

Mimi Foxmorton Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Great ear worm! I heard one at Faire this summer.... The best I can describe the tune is "Someone's in the kitchen with Dinah" "Everybody wants to be a pirate... Everybody wants to go to sea... Everybody wants to kill and maim and plunder... Everybody want to be me.... Repeat Repeat Repeat Well, you get the picture (except when my theatre kids sing it I make them say 'pillage, loot and plunder')
