Rumba Rue Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 well know we know where that Blackbeard from "True pirates of the Carribbean is.."
The Doctor Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 Nice to see ye fought him off, love! I'd hate to see you sullied by his likes... that's my job! Yo ho ho! Or does nobody actually say that?
Christine Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 Nice looking pirate indeed! Took ya prisoner huh, I definitely wouldn't fight him that much either!
PyratePhil Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 That is, without a doubt, the biggest pyrate I have ever seen. I hope you at least bought him a drink... Great pic, luv - hope you have even more fun! ...Qui desiderat pacem, praeparet bellum... ~ Vegetius
Silkie McDonough Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 I was thinking that myself but then it occured to me that he may be standing on something. If he isn't he has VERY long legs and a VERY short waist!
Silkie McDonough Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 ...or spent too much time on the rack? ...wait, that isn't period!
silverhearted maggie Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 Now why would ya be wantin' to fight him off? Seems nice enough! Not bad lookin'.... Long Live the crew of the CrimsonPermanent Assurance!
Charity Posted July 18, 2006 Author Posted July 18, 2006 ROTFLMAO..he was standing on something ofcourse.. It was this living statue thing and he wasnt a statue like thing but wanted tobe seen i guess LOL.. Hew wasn't too bad at all for sure bt ..hey..he can't have me in chains.. He could have me in lots of things but not in chains I definitely wouldn't fight him that much either! Well..there's fighting off and fighting off Like i said, a fine pirate can have me in many things but not in chains LOL.. I haven't got the pics on pc yet, my friends are both at work but, we've sofar been to Stonehenge and Avebury, and London itself a lot but tomorrow we're going to the Maritime museum in Greenwich ( www.nmm.an.uk ) and Thursday on to Canterbury, of the famous Canterbury cathedral. That's a great ole medieval town but..Friday, i'm off to Madame Tussauds where they have this big pirate thing going on, it's all over the place even at the Odeon where i saw POTC2 yesterday YAY! (more about that in a moment) and since my friend has seen it I'm going on Friday when she has to work so i can go and take my time and enjoy it as long as i want. Some more pics i just added to photobucket.. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v164/Bar...arjonLondon.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v164/Bar...rl/01010102.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v164/Bar...rl/01010006.jpg (This pic is on it's side, sorry but i don't know how to turn it as my friend has mac and right click don't work..so..please turn it over yourself ) Dead man's chest was awesome! SPOILER ALERT FOR THE REST AFTER THIS I loved the scenes with the giant squid..to see those HUGE arms come up besides gthe ship, that was awesome.. Even as Barbossa fan i couldn't help feeling sad for Jack to see him go down like that, but hey..our hero Barbossa will save the guy..what a man..what a hero! I like Elizabeth a lot more in this movie, she is awesome but I'm puzzled as to why she didn't say the truth to Will at the end about what she did to Jack..i cant help feeling sorry for Will, girlfriend betrays him ( to his knowledge) and dad gone..i feel for him. Feel for Davy too though..by the way, what a crew ROTFLMAO Anyway, my favorite scene was the very last ofcourse..to see the man drool out of sheer enjoyment of his tasting a deliscious apple again..now send him to me so i can make him enoy some more feelings Can't wait to see POTc3, it will be awesome! Sofar from London..will try and reply to some other posts now since I' m here anyway. Greetings!

Charity Posted July 30, 2006 Author Posted July 30, 2006 Hey guys, want some more? I've got to fix most of the pix up as the sun was so bright that they're a bit dark but here's some you may like, first of all a video clip of the warrior on the outside, this ship..honestly, inside it's a hundred times better then the Victory! http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v164/Bar...ortsmouth88.flv (HMS Warrior's gundeck) And, the wreck of the original Mary Rose, ship of Henry the 8th, currently being treated to preserve her: Today we're going to a giant medieval castle, in Arundel, so..more greast pics to come Also of the ships, obviously. Three more days and I'll head home..amazing how fast time went!
