The Doctor
It's nearly impossible to take a bad picture of the ocean, isn't it? Only if it includes a fat guy in a Speedo. Yo ho ho! Or does nobody actually say that?

Hester
Here's a summer solstice ritual performed by surfers on Long Beach in Pacific Rim National Park near Tofino, B.C. a couple years ago. Dim, dark weather, and it was a weekday, so the ritual took place at dusk, after everyone was through with work. I was just a tourist, so my pics are from a distance, as my husband wouldn't let me go too close and disturb this private party.

Caraccioli
Bethany Beach, DelawareSoundside, Corolla, North Carolina That's nice. Makes you want to walk out there, doesn't it? I recently heard that some of the best beaches are on the East Coast. I think they said Ocracoke Island contains the top beach. (And it also has a strong pirate history as well.) Close enough to have the cool, sea-breezes in the evenings and mornings. lol, though now it's pretty much hot both times of day.
