We have a new piratical event in the Nortwest this year. Portland Oregon will be the site of the first annual Portland Pirate Festival. Pirates will take possession of the riverfront Cathedral Park for the event on September 23rd. Festivities begin at 10am and run to 10pm. The festival is geared for the family and will offer many fun activities, including a "battle" between onshore privateers and seagoing pirates aboard the Lynx pirate vessel.

All pirates and people that subscribe to a life filled with pirattitude are welcome to attend. For further details, we have a web site at

http:www.portlandpiratefestival.com

If you are interested in vending at the festival, contact them quickly. Space is going fast for this "first of it's kind" festival in Portland.

Now, I am open to any questions you might have regarding the event.

If you are planning to travel to the Northwest this year, there are some great opportunities for piratical fun!!!

Well since you're gonna be at Cannon beach, you might want to consider going out to Depoe Bay which is just past Lincoln City. Might be a bit out of the way, but there is a store there called Pirate's Cove that specializes in piratey goods. B)

Wonderful, thanx Naveed. Now that my friend has bailed on going with me, I'll be solo and can go anywhere I want. I'll definitely check this place out. :D
