Lady Violet Cunningham
At the sound of the beep the time of day will be.... Cheeky, Ransom, Sebastian, Tribly & MacCraige have folded over to the next (late) morning. Sterling, March, Nimrod, Ioan, Jane, Striker & Ulises are playing catch up at dusk the day before. We haven't heard from Aurore & Rats recently enough (for me) to have a clue what day they are on. Though we can assume that Rats is on the same day as Sterling. Would you like a weather report with that as well? I see that my name has not made your list. A mere oversite, I'm sure, but do, dear, I pray you, try and be a little more observant, for it was I who sent PR into the next day.

CrazyCholeBlack
All right Chole, tis time to kiss the gunner's daughter!! Geeze, way to dole out the punishments Captain. Hate to see if I'd really screwed up. Ok, forgotten on the "last time" list were Violet, Tess, both those kids (Bess & Mr. Davis), most of the other Archangel crew and anyone over in England. Plus most of the random Gypsy's people & that old lady living at the mill & Morgan, the Irish twins, Pat Hand's fellow & anyone else who hasn't posted in a page or two. Honestly, no clue where all of these people are, in the city or in time. I'm not the census taker after all! Ransom
You're more than welcome in PR, Thomas Neede. Take up residence in an existing tavern/inn, or make one up. But, Chole is right. Capt. Sterling
So Ransom, I am way ahead of you in the story line now, correct? And from the looks of things so is Mr. Pinon. Shall we let you catch up or should we continue to the next morning? Ransom
You know, I'm not sure. I thought we were all on the same day, just different times. For Ransom, Trilby, Pinon, Lady Cunningham and Sebastian et all, it's dusk. I thought you were only a few hours ahead of us - on into night? Lady Cunningham was in the common room of the Three Crowns with Pinon before you got there. Sebastian returned to his room, and has now awakened at dusk for some nefarious businss after dark. Are you not, at this moment, listening to Pinon's actvities through the wall? All this happened on the same day. As for Ioan and Jane, I think they are still a day behind. Feel free to correct me if I have anyone out of sequence. :) ...schooners, islands, and maroons and buccaneers and buried gold... sirhenrymorgan
Oi Chole ye've got yer weather report! BUT is the fog out on the ocean or coming to blanket PR itself? I'm so confused... lost too much blood in this here town...extremely light headed as of late and being blond has nothing to do with it Cheeky! and neither does the alcohol  Just a note - there would never be fog in Port Royal or anywhere near it. You would have to be up in the Blue Mountains to experience fog. It's just too damned hot there for that kind of weather. :) Outside of a hurricane or very heavy squall, you can always see very clearly out into the sea from any point on the beach there. -- Sir Henry "Land only holds promise if men at sea have the courage to fight for it." - Sir Henry
sirhenrymorgan
Might there be room for a simple barkeep within your yarn Captain Sterling? There were many, many taverns in Port Royal. Some estimates were that there were as many as one tavern for every 30 people in town. Pre earthquake, there were 5 to 6000 in town. GAoP probably about half that since so much of the land sank. It's safe to say that being a tavern owner was very lucrative there. One of the most famous was the Catt & Fiddle that was next to the King's Warehouse on Thame St. It was there for many years until the earthquake in 1692. When excavated, divers found hundreds of clay pipes, many onion bottles and a large amount of cookware. -- Hope this helps.
