18thC Tavern Bar Cage

Recommended Posts

Right, here's the lay of it... with luck, we'll be moving into a "new" home in about three weeks time. One of the things that I like about the place is that the den is finished in a Tudor half-timber style, which is perfect! Why is it perfect, asks you? Because, says I, I've always wanted to have a pirate tavern in my basement, and now it looks like I'll be able to do just that.

Soooo my question, esteemed pirate colleagues... does anyone have or know of plans on building a period style bar... with... BARS!?!?

You got the house? Congratulations man!

I'll dig around for some pictures that I might have. Foxe might be able to help here as most of the "original" bars that I frequented in the UK had undergone lots of modifications since they were used 300 years ago.

But I would suspect that this picture of a coffee house would be similar to a bar...

I'll check for more though
