Gypsy Rose Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 I can thank Bilgemunkey for getting me hooked on this game. I love the puzzles that this game gives and I don't have to pay for it. I will be paying for it in the near future. Now do any of you play too?
William Blydes Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 There have been a few threads on the game. Last thread on Puzzle Pirates William Blydes I don't get lost, I EXPLORE! Adventures on the High Seas (refitted and back on station!)
Phillip Black Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Ahoy there Gypsy Rose! I be nigh addicted to Puzzle Pirates. In fact, I believe all me spare time has been divided betwixt Pirates of the Spanish Main, Sid Meier's Pirates and Puzzle Pirates as of late. I'm on Midnight as Phillipblack. I'm usually on from noon-12:30 M-F CDT, Lunch break, and off and on on the weekends. Still haven't seen ye William, but I'm keepin me eyes open! Oh, and I almost forgot...I absolutley suck at sword fighting ...But I can get incredibles on Sailing and bilging pretty regularly. Sea Captain: Yar, that be handsome pete, he dances on the pier for nickels! Sea Captain: Arrr... you gave him a quarter, he'll be dancin all day.
William Blydes Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 only once were you online Phillip. When I hailed you, you were 'busy in combat' ah well... I just haven't gotten a handle on the sailing or Navigation (being a Navigator by trade, this irks me to no end). But I'm alway the last to fall when a fight doesn't go our way. Fought off 3 pirates single handed one time. Got two of them, but couldn't 'close the deal' as it were. William Blydes I don't get lost, I EXPLORE! Adventures on the High Seas (refitted and back on station!)
WillTheobald Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 Navigation is an intense puzzle and most pirates that a I talk to can never seem to get the hang out it. Good luck and I will actually start trying to find you guys. I havent played to heavily in the recent months, I became an Ironmonger on Oyster Island so my focus has been running the shoppe. So what crew might you scurvy dogs be in?
Phillip Black Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 Figures I'd be busy in combat! I'll try to keep a better eye out for ye William! I'm in a crew called "Pissed Off Pirates." Though, we aren't all that pissed off really I'm based out of Winter Solstice, though I'm saving for a Manor on a different isle, maybe Turtle... Sea Captain: Yar, that be handsome pete, he dances on the pier for nickels! Sea Captain: Arrr... you gave him a quarter, he'll be dancin all day.
William Blydes Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 Nav is a hard one to get a hang of for sure.... I've been mostly freelance for the last while. I wasn't able to devote much time to the game recently, so being in a crew wasn't fair for that crew. I'm now in Lost Souls now. Joined lastnight in fact. My base is Turtle. I thought of opening a shop (shipyard), but it would take time away from my fighting William Blydes I don't get lost, I EXPLORE! Adventures on the High Seas (refitted and back on station!)
Daft Sally Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 In Puzzle Pirates I be a tad less daft than in real life. I play on Cobalt, 'cause it be smaller an' easier te get control over things. I own a tailory, a weavery, an' manage me husband's apothecary. We got a great flag, but our crew be a bit... well... ye'll have te look us up te see. We be doin' somethin' a bit unusual. We be Sallysally and Odinabbott. As fer Nav, Odin's got it down. I can't figur' it out meself, but then I distill like mad, and he'd blow up the still if he could!
