Go on NY rte 12, north of Utica, turn off to rte 28 south and find where the West Canada Creek cometh in. An unofficial crew (but a crew none the less) called the Pirates of West Canada Creek will be makin their 2nd annual 5mile voyage in their 3 mast sloop. All are invited in any creekworthy vessel ye can think of. Be creative, if'n ye don't actually have a boat. It be a 5hr day approx with lots o fun and plunderin. A contest for the finest costume be in order. They do advise ye bringeth river shoes, yer own grub fer munchin, and lots o'sunscreen.
