^ That list would go to the moon and back. But let's just say, being the oldest of five, with parents who married way too young because they had to, and with a mother who wanted to be anywhere but where she was, stuck with a bunch of kids, life was not very fun.

< I've been told many times that just because they are your family, you're not required by law to like them. It's taken me a long time to accept that without feeling guilty.

^ my parents are still back in NY, the inlaws are snow birds and the rest of the family members are split between NY and Florida... one reason for our move was to get away from some of them, but still love them any way

< so can insomniacs go from not sleeping to sleeping every free minute they get? :lol:

^ Pour a glass of wine, and if the weather is nice, sit out on the deck and let my mind go blank. If the stress is really bad, pour a glass of wine and go hide in a dark closet for an hour or two. :lol:

< Yeah, insomniacs can sleep anytime they get the chance. Sounds like you need it, so I'd listen to you body and sleep whenever you can.

V Can you cat nap anywhere, or do you have trouble sleeping anywhere other than your own bed?

^ Wood furniture mostly. Love cherry, rosewood, and other dark hardwoods.

< Adore Cherry and Rosewood and also maple. Grew up with it. Real furniture. They just don't make it anymore!

^ Many out here are big on outdoor kitchens and fireplaces. Yep only in the southwest.

^ Resorts can be nice, but if ye mean me an ten thousand o' me friends, I'll take the small unique spot.

< I don't need a huge crowd t' feel connected. Don't get me wrong some events worth the crowd; like parades and pirates faires.

^ Tour like a mad person (further north ye go durin' the summer, more hours o' day light..) and nap when I get home.

^ yes tons, both in plans & just general anxiousness for good weather & being outside.

< :rolleyes: at Jacky. I already have an outdoor fire pit. My yard is divided into "rooms" and one of them is focused around the fire pit (bowl actually since I'm in the city).
