Capt. Sterling Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 ^ Behind the scenes making sure the limelight doesn't burn out. Which is funny because I have actually worked on a theater lighting crew. < Worried that my wallflower tendencies is a handicap for the first time in my life! V When meeting people from on-line in person do you A. Run up and say hi or B. stand back & wait for them to notice you. ^ Unfortunately usually too busy to run up and say hello and not always certain what on-line people look like, which can only complicate matters < Step up and say hello, most of us don't bite... unless asked to. V Like to check out a new person for yourself or do you go by the opinions of others that talk about people behind their backs? Capt. Sterling Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 ^ Hmmm I am a notorious window shopper because I am always looking for exactly the right thing before I spend my money < Right now, throughly annoyed because I can not find the site with the proper late 17th century mourning rings, need one for my kit. The 1740 ring would have been perfect if it had been for the early GAoP, because Williamsburg still makes the band for only 25 bucks... grumble, grumble VChole: since the kids grow out of shoes sooo quickly what are you opting for little swap's tootsies for GAoP? CrazyCholeBlack Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 ^ oh boy, I could write a dissertation on shoes Suffice it to say, I don't know yet because I'm not convinced I've found all the options for PC children's shoes. What I'd love to do is find something really high quality & authentic & share it down the line with other people as they are out grown. I swear I saw a guy in the UK who had a "children's shoe scheme" where you could keep getting bigger shoes as the kids out grew them for less than buying a brand new pair every time (can't find it now though of course). < I think I over think this stuff sometimes, but it's just so much fun!
