^ Pirates..of course!

< Seriously, I was afflicted at a young age with the need for all things pirate from my dads stories, living on an island, an overactive imagination and a pirates halloween costume. Well...you asked.

V Have you converted any to the love of pyracy of any kind?

Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help....

^ When it comes to converting folks to pyracy, well I've corrupted many a fine youth in my day... sh*te that sounds bloody awful!! B)

< My oldest is even worse than I am when it comes to pirates... and to think FBH had to drag her off the POC ride at Disney World, kicking and screaming because she was too afraid to get in the boat! I staid and went on with the youngest

V How many times have you been on the POC ride down at either Disney World or Disneyland?

^ I have never been on the ride. I have made plans to do so very soon though. I shall liken it unto a pilgrimage to Mecca! Hmm...gotta to have the front seat first time in!

< Ms. Cheeky Actress, so glad you are good sport! All in good fun. Always a good sport, Dearie! Isn't that right, Johnny? B)

V Which is your favorite Disney character?

^ Bagheera the panther.

> Humorless, task-oriented and excessively focussed, and needs to generally loosen up (Balloo: "Get with the beat, Baggy, baby!"). Although my favorite cartoons are the 'Wolf and Sheepdog' Chuck Jones set-pieces. Brilliant. Don't get me started about animation...

V Passing along.

Pauly caught a bullet

But it only hit his leg

Well it should have been a better shot

And got him in the head

They were drinking from a fountain

That was pouring like an avalanche

Coming down the mountain

^ I don't know how to answer that so I asked Maeve. She said I'm a combination of Peter Pan, Robin Hood, Darkwing Duck and Tarzan. She either thinks I'm eclectic, or she thinks I'm a childish, hairy, wild man with webbed feet.

< I can live with that.

V I'll pass the question.

^ I have no idea what cartoon character I'm like. Probably Wile E Coyote - always trying for the gold ring, and never quite grabbing it - but never giving up. My favorite cartoon character was the old Popeye - before the animation went cheapo. I loved Alice the Goon, and Jeep the dog - at least, I think it was a dog. Tom Hatton Popeye cartoons on Saturday nights - with the "Finish the swiggle contest."

< I've been on the POTC ride dozens of times. I even got stuck on it once, at the very end, hanging at a 45 degree angle while the town burned around me and shots pinged overhead. They closed the ride, and we were the last ones rescued off the boats. My ex husband was passing around a flask of rum while we waited. Tell truth, after having to listen to it for about 40 min., I was REALLY sick of the Yo Ho Yo Ho song for a long time.

V Ever get stuck on a ride anywhere?

...schooners, islands, and maroons

and buccaneers and buried gold...

^ Vincent Price in THE LAST MAN ON EARTH. Frightening, stark film that disorients me whenever I see it. The grandaddy of all zombie movies.

> A portrait of societal fragility that I can relate to all too well.

^ Not necessarily. I've been known to picnic in pretty bad weather actually, so I'm not always motivated by blue skies.

< It is an ongoing joke in my family to have picnics really late in the fall.

V Have you ever been snow-caving?

< Love to play in snow - hate to drive to work in it.
