Biker Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 I had no idea that the last link I had posted in jokes had a trojan horse. " Never knock on Heaven's door. Ring the bell and run. He hates that" ' Whatever is not nailed down is MINE. Whatever I can pry loose, is not nailed down."
The Doctor Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Hey, no worries! Next time, though it be less strategically advantageous, if ye catch me meaning, I'd seriously consider the Trojan Rabbit. Worst off, they'll fling a cow or two at ye! Yo ho ho! Or does nobody actually say that?
Barbados Sam Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Three viruses actually. Fortunately, my McAfee scrubbed them all clean. Thank God I didn't open that one at work! At first I thought it was funny......until I found I couldn't turn it off.....after it had opened about the 42nd porn site I finally unplugged my computer to stop it. I typically don't click on links that I don't know, but here on the pub, I felt like we're all friends and didn't even consider that there might have been a virus attached! I know your humor Biker, and I was ready for another naked grandma or something! Lesson learned for this pirate!! "There be the chest, inside be the gold, we took them all. Spent them and traded them. We frittered them away on drink and food and pleasurable company. The more we gave them away, the more we came to realize... the drink would not satisfy, food turned to ash in our mouths, and all the pleasurable company in the world could not slake our lust. We are cursed men....Compelled by greed we were, and now we are consumed by it."
Red-Handed Jill Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Hmm... I was able to turn it off before it really did anything. Lucky me, I guess. Which viruses, by the way? Just curious - once a geek, always a geek.
Barbados Sam Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 It was three trojan horses....I don't remember the names......
