callenish gunner Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 patrick ye can speed up the process by burying the stick in sand and building a wood fire atop it and slow drying it over about 24-36 hours all to cool and then then hang to dry further it sppeds up the process by 11 1/2 months
