Zephaniah W Nash
I might try to make it, p'ticularly for the pyrate weekend, o'course. Too far in the future for any definite plans - right now I can barely plan out what I'm doing tomorrow...
Tempest Fitzgerald
Looking forward to this quaint event. We carry Letters of Marque for this particular faire with the kindness endowed by the local Royals. Bad timing on the Buccaneer Weekend for it overlaps the opening weekend of Scarborough ...We might split the weekend and attend Four Winds that Sunday. The Ball sounds grand, I have always been intregued by soirees of refined quality. Perhaps luck will prove kinder this event, unlike Red River and we shall meet in person finally. Until then... ...Or lay these bones in an unworthy urn, Tombless, with no rememberance over them: Either our history shall with full mouth Speak freely of our acts, or else our grave, Like a Turkish mute, shall have a toungueless mouth, Not worshipped with a waxen epitaph... Zephaniah W Nash
Shoulda paid more attention to my scheduling there... Maybe I can hit the Four Winds earlier then, figuring to hit Scarborough opening weekend. And the second... And the third...
Tempest Fitzgerald
Schedueling....Now there's the rub! ( Well, that and accessability to extra coin in one's pouch.) This is the busy time of the year for events in this area. Excaliburhas been ressurected from demise, though it is located further south than its' former location. Four Winds is the warm up round for Scarborough, which is our home faire. Also, there is Bucaneer Days, nearing down south in Corpus...And two faires on the nearing horizon in Oklahoma. So many events...so little time. On a side note, if you wish to obtain a discount for passes in regard to Scarborough, you have until the 28th of this month to do so. Last year they did have a booth at The North Texas Irish Festival,(Dallas), and advanced discount passes were available there. I am unsure if they are doing that this year. ...Or lay these bones in an unworthy urn, Tombless, with no rememberance over them: Either our history shall with full mouth Speak freely of our acts, or else our grave, Like a Turkish mute, shall have a toungueless mouth, Not worshipped with a waxen epitaph... Zephaniah W Nash
I'm figuring on season passes this year. It's only about 45 minutes away, and with a season pass, it's a pretty cheap form of entertainment, with going regularly.
