Rumba Rue
Difficult time, I think much more on the surviving family members than the person affected. There is nothing that can be done for your mother-in-law, her time here is coming to a close. Hold onto all the good things and the joy of life and treasure every minute we have on this Earth. Steady the wind into the sails The Spirit carries the ship Into the Infinite Universe Where there we shall all meet one day. Blessed Be.
Christine
I'm all too familiar with this disease since working in a retirement home. I'm holding you in my prayers and thoughts. I've been a bit of a mess lately myself. My grandfather (really my great uncle, but he and my great aunt raised my dad) is dying, he's very frail, so weak. My grandmother is having complications from diabetes and may lose her leg. I think she's giving up since losing my step-grandfather in September. She's not taking care of herself like she should be. My dad keeps us posted on the situations. Ugh!

The Doctor
My dear friends, thank you so much for your prayers and support. My wife's mother shuffled off her mortal coil this morning in her sleep. Her struggles over, she rests in peace. We'll be setting off for Iowa in a day or two to attend the memorial service and make sure her father is all right. :) Yo ho ho! Or does nobody actually say that?
