El Pirata
I was looking into getting a few of my reales mounted but I am not impressed with a normal looking gold or silver chain. I was looking for a chain that was similar in shape (definately not size) to an anchor chain. Any suggestion where to find some? Capt Grey
Try looking on eBay. I used to buy a lot of semi-precious jewelry to accessorize my work apparel and I remember looking for chains to put pendants on. Sellers who deal in jewelry usually have several types of chain styles. It's also less expensive than a jewelry or department store. :) Captain, we always knew you were a whoopsie. Rumors of my death are entirely premature.

Capn_Enigma
Hi there, of course, you are aware that anchor chains are definitely not stylish for anything but 19th century (1800 plus) outfits. Before that, anchor ropes were in use aboard ships. Best regards, "The floggings will continue until morale improves!"
Cap'n Coyote
A friend of mine used to make chain mail for the local SCAdians, and had a few bracelets and such like. It occurs to me that if you were to slightly pinch a chain mail link, it would go oval like an anchor chain link. Have you given any thought to braided leather cords? You may want something sturdier, but it would echo the anchor ropes. Rumors of my death were right on the money.
