The Doctor Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 Here's mine. It looks to me that the pyrate vessel is taking a beating in order to regain the weather gauge. I'd do the same. Yo ho ho! Or does nobody actually say that?
Caraccioli Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 We haven't seen this topic for awhile and there are several new people... I still have the same screen on my desktop as was seen previously, but I've always had a different one for my laptop: (A virtual nickel to anyone who knows who that is and what movie role they played.) "You're supposed to be dead!" "Am I not?"
Mission Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 I updated my desktop at work with Nicole Adreyko's photo from PiP. There's nothing like a Key West sunset... Mycroft: "My brother has the brain of a scientist or a philosopher, yet he elects to be a detective. What might we deduce about his heart?" John: "I don't know." Mycroft: "Neither do I. But initially he wanted to be a pirate."
Capt. Sterling Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 "I being shot through the left cheek, the bullet striking away great part of my upper jaw, and several teeth which dropt down the deck where I fell... I was forced to write what I would say to prevent the loss of blood, and because of the pain I suffered by speaking."~ Woodes Rogers Crewe of the Archangel http://jcsterlingcptarchang.wix.com/creweofthearchangel# http://creweofthearchangel.wordpress.com/

The Doctor Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 I've been especially nostalgic for La Nouvelle-Orléans lately. Beignets and cafe au lait, anyone? Yo ho ho! Or does nobody actually say that?

Christine Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 I'm using this sunset beach scene from the Caribbean. I'd love to be laying out on a towel on that beach, just relaxing without a care in the world...*sighs*

Mission Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 I decided to change my laptop background. Now it looks like this: Mycroft: "My brother has the brain of a scientist or a philosopher, yet he elects to be a detective. What might we deduce about his heart?" John: "I don't know." Mycroft: "Neither do I. But initially he wanted to be a pirate."
