Cascabel Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Looky here what I stumbled upon...... http://www.richard-chamberlain.info/Blackbeard/ >>>>>> Cascabel
JoshuaRed Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 Sounds like they're rehashing the "undercover" theme of Robert Newton's old Blackbeard movie, except concerning Kidd's treasure ( ) instead of bringing down Henry Morgan. *sigh* the real story is so much more interesting....maybe someday.... Still, I'll be setting the tivo for this one and enjoying it for sure - you may lay to that!
William Brand Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 Cool. I own a doctor's bag from Richard Chamberlain's run as a doctor on the Kildare series.
tishsparrow Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 i read the article, but what channel? and what time? maybe i just missed it...
Cascabel Posted October 5, 2005 Author Posted October 5, 2005 i read the article, but what channel? and what time? maybe i just missed it... I don't think you missed it. Something like that will be heavily advertised when it gets close. >>>> Cascabel
Killian Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 I wonder if this is the same thing Billy Bones posted about. https://pyracy.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=5565&hl=
JoshuaRed Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 Well it's for the Hallmark Channel, not exactly known for gritty dark realism. Still though, I'm excited and optimistic that they'll pull something good off!
Paisley Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 tried several searches on hallmark channel website...all i found was this: Jules Verne's Mysterious Island A hot air balloon carrying passengers and a dog escapes from Richmond, Virginia during the American Civil War only to be blown far off course, resulting in a crash landing on an uncharted island. Struggling to stay alive as they hunger for a rescue that may never come, the isolated, desperate survivors face pirates, scavengers, giant reptilian creatures, the wrath of Mother Nature and the inexplicable secrets of the Island. Stars: Kyle MacLachlan, Gabrielle Anwar, Omar Gooding, Patrick Stewart and Vinnie Jones "This calls for a particularly subtle blend of psychology & extereme violence." -Vivian, The Young Ones
