Creative Grog

I have a standard recipe fer original grog, but was wondering what all of ye who brew yer own ad to it to maybe give it a special kick?

Please, no dead rats, cockroaches er dead man's fingers....I tried enuf o'those already.....

One that I really like is Rum mixed with Woodchuck Green Apple Cider.

I also have been known to pour a bottle of Private stock into a crockpot, add 3 fresh-cut granny smith apples and cinnimon sticks, and let stew for about 3 hours, pour into a mug with honey and it makes a delicious Rum Cider!

one part southern comfort

two parts cask n cream (Ernest and Julios irish cream)(maybe three parts)

1/4 part amaretto

1/4 part coconut rum

1/2 part kahlua

1/2 part vanilla rum

we'll bring the gallon to escondido so you know where our tent on wheels is right? Up at the ranger station come on up for "the breakfast of champions"

those of you that trod the climb up the hill were indeed treated to one a me best batches and we'll have it with us again next weekend as well!

Me wife Experience an' I had ta' pleasure o' tossin' back a mug o' Diego's grog......tastes so good it's dangerous!!!!

I be makin' a vat of "Skip and Go Nakeds"

1 liter Vodka

1 2 liter bottle sprite

1 6-pack of lager (usually Coors Light)

1 Can frozen limeade

1 Can frozen lemonade

Makes alot, but it's great on a summer party weekend. And yes, it does taste good. :lol:

Capt. PEW ....Skip and go naked really does make you skip and go naked!

Here is my Fall Grog: (Warm it on the wood stove or crock pot)

1 package of Goya Peach Necter

3 cups water

Rum to taste (Capt. Spiced is my Fav)

And 1/2 package of CROWN mulling spice

2 Clemintine Oranges, cut up and added in

Serves 3 or 4 people = if its really cold 2! B)

Yes it was! And remember that stuff can knock ye on yer arse! Although Diego's recipe seems mild (kinda') I believe his proportions are not exact at times and the SoCo does me in!

<note to self....fill flask with Southern Comfort at Escondido Faire in Spring>

Experience be swoonin' over yer grog as well mate. Guess we'll have to do some flask swappin' next time we meet :P
