Master Sully
I purchased a deck cannon 2 years ago from a prop house in Hollywood that had built 20 or so of them for the " Hook" movie. After going through several statue manufacturers, I found one that has cast a mold of the cannon for me that is top notch. The cannon barrel is fiberglass ( much lighter than the real thing) and can be rigged to fire special effects from it. The original's carriage is made from oak, but I had the company cast it in fiberglass as well. I am ready to start production on them with an order of 10 barrels, and I am wondering if there are a few interested in purchasing them. I'm looking to get $ 250 for a barrel or $750 for both barrel and carriage. Pictures will come soon. Actually the Callenish Gunner has a pic of the original ( as seen at PiP) this past year. They are life- size and easy to carry about! "Remember, on a pirate ship, in pirate waters, in a pirate world, ask no questions. Believe only what you see. No, believe half of what you see."... hurricane
Hey there Stud! Diosa's ready to get hers (she'll be willing to drive up and draw blood if ya like). Remember, she called dibs in Key West... :) and she didn't see an email from ya... She'll take the barrel... we can build the undercarriage. -- Hurricane -- Hurricane ______________________________________________________________________ http://piratesofthecoast.com/images/pyracy-logo1.jpg Captain of The Pyrates of the Coast Author of "Memoirs of a Buccaneer: 30 Year Before the Mast" (Published in Fall 2011) Scurrilous Rogue Stirrer of Pots Fomenter of Mutiny Bon Vivant & Roustabout Part-time Carnival Barker Certified Ex-Wife Collector Experienced Drinking Companion "I was screwed.
