Commodore Swab Posted February 18, 2023 Posted February 18, 2023 Can't take credit as I was doing the shooting (firing). It's the same bore as the cannibuss!
Tartan Jack Posted September 28, 2023 Posted September 28, 2023 2 shots from Massacre Island My 15 year old kit, then with Stynky’s old pants (attained in the auction) & Halfpint-made shirt. I can now say I officially have a pair of Stynky slops -John "Tartan Jack" Wages, of South Carolina

Mary Diamond Posted January 26 Posted January 26 I believe this was Put In Bay, Ohio, by Mr. Bagley… Oooh, shiny!
michaelsbagley Posted January 26 Posted January 26 No way I took a photo that good. I might have posted it, but wife is the good photographer. But that is an amazing and thematic photo. Also, the trio of Jon, Caden, and William.... quite striking. All three of you manage to present some serious gravitas there.

The empty chair is reminder to people that historical re-enactment is not the 'closed' group they think it is. There's always an empty chair for anyone that wants to sit down and talk about the sweet trade. It's also an open reminder of the friends that weren't there. You were greatly missed.
CaptainHarlow Posted January 27 Posted January 27 (edited) Some photos in my finished impression. Sailor from the GAoP period, 1715 - 1720 I don't routinely carry weapons with this kit, as I don't believe sailors would've done day to day, (unless I' doing an impression of a pirate doing boarding action/ raiding etc.) I just wanted to show them off with my kit here P.S please ignore the facial hair choices. Was just a fashion statement at the time, also do not routinely wear beards in kit either. Edited January 27 by CaptainHarlow
