The only events I know of that might attract such scurvy dogs would be the Scarborough Fair (alas, already past) or the big Texas Rennesance Festival (not untill October). Anyone know if there any other pirate events in these parts?I know we have a local SCA, but I don't know if there are any pirates in the group... Everyone loves an Irish girl. The big festivals that have anything to do with pirating around here are (that I know of): 1. Scarborough Faire 2. The Pirate Days of the Colony 3. The Texas Renaissance Festival 4. The Middlefaire...erm...faire? These are all late summer fests except for Scarborough which does indeed start 4 April. Just a trip to austin is enough miles to cross a state or two in most areas of the country. We've got Buc Days (short for buccaneer) down here but it's long lost the pirate associations. The coliseum was turned into a darkened tavern with belly dancers and such. Not the best turnout though and I'm not sure who was organizing it.
