Christine Posted May 22, 2005 Posted May 22, 2005 In the first link, Jack looks creepy! The Barbossa doll looks good tho. Jack looks good in the 2nd link.
Charity Posted May 22, 2005 Author Posted May 22, 2005 I agree. The Barbossa doll i hadn't even seen yet, it's brilliant.
William Brand Posted May 22, 2005 Posted May 22, 2005 The sculpture is the better of the two in my opinion. The leaning, off-kilter look.
Silent Posted May 29, 2005 Posted May 29, 2005 I would have to say you are right, the second one is a lot better looking
Mission Posted May 31, 2005 Posted May 31, 2005 Something looks odd about both of them to me. The first one was discussed at length here. The second one...I dunno, it looks funny...not quite right for some reason. It almost looks too fey. While you're looking for 3rd party Jack dolls, check out this thread as well. Mycroft: "My brother has the brain of a scientist or a philosopher, yet he elects to be a detective. What might we deduce about his heart?" John: "I don't know." Mycroft: "Neither do I. But initially he wanted to be a pirate."
morgan_thelimey_grimmway Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 Sort of off topic, but I love the Jay Gatsby doll from the first site, also, the William Shakespear. Jack is a wee bit scary, and I'm not partial to Will Turned to begin with. I despise Orlando Bloom. "Work is the curse of the drinking classes."
captjacksparrowsavvvy Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 I do like the second Jack doll and wouldn't mind paying big bucks for it but the first one doesn't have that "jack" look...
Jonathan Hawks Posted June 3, 2005 Posted June 3, 2005 I gots ta admit, they not be bad. Now I need ta be gettin one. Shoots anything that moves!!
