Central Library in downtown Portland will once again host tot moshing and All-ages jigging on Saturday April 2, with free performances at both 11 AM and 2 PM.

FESTIVAL de PIRATAS IV- June 25, 2005

The annual celebration of music and piracy (for buccaneers 21 and older) also represents the official 21-and-older record release for the band's new CD 'Pegleg Tango.' The sixth festival moves to Sabala's Mt. Tabor in SE Portland, and also moves back to its old slot in late June (Festival's IV and V occured in August). More details to come.

Future Sailings

Two full up events. About 150 patrons at each show today in Portland at the main library downtown. We arrived at 10:30 for the 11:00 show and were turned away at the door by the fire marshal!

After a quick trip on MAX to China Town for Dim Sum and an entertaining ride back. Yelling "abandon ship!" as our small band of BOOM members and our PowderMonkeys disembarked from the train, and we were in line promptly at 1:00 for the 2:00 show. Posed fer photos with youngin's and passed out cannon balls, and me bunny rabbit to be thrown by the tot moshers during "Scurvy".

The Captain and the Boys did us proud and seemed to enjoy the projectiles! The Captain sighed an audible "arrgh" of relief when we didn't have any peg legs to toss.

They played an half hour set of old and new with "Scallywag" being the clear favorite next to "Pieces of 8"

Just another piratical day in Portlandia.
