Well, while we wait for him to post some more ... who knows these lyrics?

See the girl with cymbals on her fingers entering through the door

Rubies glistening from her navel shimmering around the floor

Bells on feet go ting a ling a ling ing going through my head

Sweat is falling just like a tear drop running from her head

Now she's dancing, going through the movements, swaying to and fro

Body moving, bringing back a memory, thoughts of long ago

Blood is rushing, temperature is rising, sweating from my brow

Like a snake her body fascinates me, I can't look away now

Isn't it from the K H J 60's boss album?

Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, and ends with a knife in your back.

Stop, stop, stop by The Hollies

Ok how about

I was out cruising without you

They were playing our song

Crying on a Saturday Night

Posted

Saturday, Saturday, Saturday, Saturday, Saturday, Saturday, Saturday, Saturday Night's alright! Sorry made me think of old stinky Sir Elton there it did!

Saturday Night!

"Maybe I'm crazy, but it's crazy and it's true

I know you can save me, no one else can save me now but you"

Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, and ends with a knife in your back.

I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)

by Meat Loaf

i would do anything for love, i'd run right into hell and back

i would do anything for love, i'll never lie to you and that's a fact

but i'll never forget the way you feel right now, oh no, no way

and i would do anything for love, but i won't do that, i won't do that

anything for love, oh i would do anything for love

i would do anything for love, but i won't do that, oh i won't do that

Good one Diego ! Hey - Killian is pretty good at this too. I keep singing that Hollis song over and over in my head. I heard it the night I posted it and now it's stuck!

OK, how about this one...

It seems like the other day

That my baby went away

Went away 'cross the sea

Seems like a year ago

Reading the lyrics I can see that, hearing the full song I am sure it won't.

I got cotton in the bottom land

It's up and growin' and I got a good stand

My good wife and them kids of mine

The band and the name of the song is called Spirit.

Here's one I am sure you should get right away. I'm playing with the clasics first. :o

It ain’t no use to sit and wonder why, babe

It don’t matter, anyhow

An’ it ain’t no use to sit and wonder why, babe

If you don’t know by now

When your rooster crows at the break of dawn

Look out your window and I’ll be gone

You’re the reason I’m trav’lin’ on

Killian, Lad - ye be HALF RIGHT! I guess that in Pyracy that counts - the name of the song is Fresh Garbage and yes the song was by Spirit (Good ol' Randy California!) Nice one!

Darn will have to file that one away. I have played Lyric games on many a forum and trivia sites, most of what I know is from what I listen to and what I have learned playing these games. I won't get them all.

How 'bout this one:

We're flying high, we're watching the world pass us by.

Never want to come down, never want to put my feet back down on the ground.

I wonder if one of the most important steps on our journey is the one in which we throw away the map.

My fathers knew of wind and tide, and my blood is maritime.

I don't pretend to be captain weird.

I just do what I do.

"...Don't touch, don't talk, wall to wall

She's your ticket to the future, don't listen down the hall

You can say your prayer to the head of this bed

When it begins at your knees and goes right to your head..."

I don't know these lyrics.

Suzanne Vega - Birth-Day B)

How about this one...

I like the way that they walk

And it's chill to hear them talk

And I can always make them smile

From White Castle to the Nile

Back in the day

There was this girl around the way

She liked by home-piece M.C.A.

He said he would not give her play

I asked him, "Please?" - he said, "You may."

Her pants were tight and that's ok

If she would dance - I would D.J.

We took a walk down to the bay

Girls - Beastie Boys

Oh and I like the way girls walk to0, and I get a chill when I hear them talk, but not always in a good way. B)
