After nearly 2 weeks of either sleeping on the floor or in the recliner, I finally got smart and bought a smaller puppy crate that will fit in the bedroom. It felt so good sleeping in my own bed again. Even though I still had to get up several times, I actually got a good night sleep. Last night when I started the dishwasher, all the water backed up into the bathtub and toilet. Very fun. Fortunately a plumber is coming out some time this morning, but until then I've been forced to use, in the rain, the "great outdoors." I have to attend a family funeral tomorrow for an older relative, which will be sad. And bittersweet, to see many friends and family that I haven't seen in a long time. But looking forward to the New Year ... with lots of social activity. I'm going to be dancing my feet off in 2008! Scottish, English, Contra ... and now Irish! (What was I thinking when I signed on for this?) Got new dance shoes today, though! Anyhow, lots of swinging in those dances, so I'm bound to feel dizzy throughout 2008. But, in a good way.
