You can't even find a clean spot on it to wipe off the sauce from your lips or fingers. It may sound like it, but I'm not complaining. I've enjoyed every exhausting minute of this past week. But, I am looking forward to a few days of rest. Then I can start sewing all those eyelets on my stays for PIP. I finally got one room completed. I tore out the kitchen yesterday and scrubbed it completely down. And I found all of my Rooseters and Hens and redecorated. Yippie. Now on to the next room.... Christine Posted November 14, 2007 Share Posted November 14, 2007 Doing better now. I had a scary incident happen at the hospital early morning on the 12th. I was dehydrated from vomiting and other yuckies. I was very weak and needed to be on IV and get fluids back in me. I've had this happen before and always I get a bag of saline and salt water to help me get back to normal. Well, this time they did something different. They gave me compazine and benadryl in my IV. That combo messed me up badly! It made me feel like I was coming off a bad LSD trip, very scary feeling. I demanded the IV be pulled out. I was told that the drugs would have to leave my system and then I'll return to normal. I was in a fog after that, woozy and becoming excitable. As the day went on I was starting to decline. I went to my doctor at Kaiser who told me not to take any kind of medicine, it needs to be flushed out of my system. That night was really bad. I was acting like a schzio, I was scaring my family. I couldn't remember stuff and I would stare blankly, very scary. Today, now that's it's over 24 hours, I'm doing better. Still slight restlessness and woozy, but so much better than last night.
