Tempest Fitzgerald Posted July 9, 2005 Posted July 9, 2005 *On her way to the Apothecary for supplies, notices the posting and pauses to read the text.* Very odd... *Looks upward to the deserted Kate and puzzles momentarily* Very odd, indeed... *Starts to resume trek and hesitates as a sudden thought is realized...* I assume I shall have to depend on my private stock to obtain a decent quality Cognac...bugger... *Glances back to the Kate in brief, then continues on....* ...Or lay these bones in an unworthy urn, Tombless, with no rememberance over them: Either our history shall with full mouth Speak freely of our acts, or else our grave, Like a Turkish mute, shall have a toungueless mouth, Not worshipped with a waxen epitaph... TortugaWench Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 Did Phil break the counter by dancing on it? (j/k) Looks like more than just a hurricane came through here though.
CaptainCiaran Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 Hmmm, now in the South when we say "repairs" we could be talking about a refill fer our cocktail. (As in, 'Excuse me Sir, I do believe my glass is in need of a repair'.) (Ciaran ponders whether William has placed the sign up as a trick or a test. Perhaps if we sneak in with our empty glasses he will be awaitin inside to fill them up again.) Someone try the knob and see if the door will open. I wonder if one of the most important steps on our journey is the one in which we throw away the map. -- Loreena McKennitt My fathers knew of wind and tide, and my blood is maritime. -- Stan Rogers I don't pretend to be captain weird. William Brand Posted July 11, 2005 Author Posted July 11, 2005 (flings open doors) AAAAAaaaahhhhhhhh! It's nice to take a break from it all from time to time. Aye. Nice, indeed. Tonight's special is falafel! Having lived in Isreal twice, I'm biased about the way falafel should be prepared. Very biased indeed.
CaptainCiaran Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 (Ciaran shrieks and jumps as the door opens just as he was reaching fer the handle!) Ahem. Yo William. I like yer new Avatar image. Falafel is a favourite of mine. I'll take an order and a cold beer of yer choice. CaptainCiaran Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 (places Crowns on the counter) Thank ye, mate. I hope ye made mischief while the Tsunami was closed for repairs. It's important to close shop and get away every so often. Let's just say that I won't be needing anyone to tip for their drinks for awhile and the Dutch East India Company is going to feel...well...let's leave it at that.
CaptainCiaran Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 (Ciaran raises his mug) Arr, well done, mate.
