BriarRose Kildare Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Hmmm, does there be any thing to nibble on? Just mayhaps a wee snack? BriarRose Kildare Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 BriarRose gleefully claps her hands at the sight of the wee sandwiches. Awwww, Captain, those wee sandwiches look wonderfully delicious. Thanks for being such a sweet Host. BriarRose then helps herself to some of the delightful wee sandwiches. Capt. Sterling Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Tis about time! I was forced to write what I would say to prevent the loss of blood, and because of the pain I suffered by speaking."~ Woodes Rogers Crewe of the Archangel http://jcsterlingcptarchang.wix.com/creweofthearchangel# http://creweofthearchangel.wordpress.com/
Silkie McDonough Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Thank you good friend William. I actually surprised myself in the long run. not that i ever DOUBTED I could do it just that I never actually thought that I WOULD ever have the chance. First sail is next Saturday ...that will be the true test!
William Brand Posted April 11, 2008 Author Posted April 11, 2008 And what if there's a storm? True test becomes ultimate test. Cue ominous music.
Capt. Sterling Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 **Glaring at William** Will ye let the lass get her feet wet first! Red-Handed Jill Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Aye - congratulations on making it to "crew" Silkie! And I hope you have a GREAT first sail. My advice... I've been sailing for years and still use it.
Silkie McDonough Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 John, I would prefer not to get even my feet wet unless it IS raining. Besides, my job is to tend lines, the responsibility is on the Captain, Bosun and Mate. Thank you Syren but all good news to be shared in a timely manner round here. Jill, Aye, comes highly advised by all experienced crew. I shall also be trying the band for the river trips. The drugs come out for the sea voyages.
Capt. Sterling Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Johnathan, I would prefer not to get even my feet wet unless it IS raining. Now, now, ye have to try an amphibious landing...snigger, one of these days! Ransom Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Cheers to Silkie on passing her test, and I hope you have a grand first sailing. ...schooners, islands, and maroons and buccaneers and buried gold...
