Capt. Sterling Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Um..let's not rush Paradise... not trying to die yet, working rather hard to stick around a bit longer... well sort of hard... occassionally... once in a blue moon... "I being shot through the left cheek, the bullet striking away great part of my upper jaw, and several teeth which dropt down the deck where I fell... Red-Handed Jill Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Hmmm... think I'll make Bananas Foster this weekend. I make a killer Bananas Foster.
Capt. Sterling Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 You tease you!!!! Ransom Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 You know, I'm actually recovered enough that I might be able to taste those! Looks pretty killer! ...schooners, islands, and maroons and buccaneers and buried gold... You can do everything right, strictly according to procedure, on the ocean, and it'll still kill you. But if you're a good navigator, a least you'll know where you were when you died.......From The Ship Killer by Justin Scott. Red Cat Jenny Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 William...we need to have a word about that cook...Thank goodness hes not on when I am. How about some Bananas Foster laced creme brulee with strawberries and creme fraische? Oh and a sprig of mint Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.... Her reputation was her livelihood. I'm a pirate, love. By nature and by choice! My inner voice sometimes has an accent! My wont? A delicious rip in time...
Red-Handed Jill Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Ooooh... my other favorite - creme brulee! (Gotta make that sometime too. Bananas Foster first, though.)

William Brand Posted March 12, 2008 Author Posted March 12, 2008 William...we need to have a word about that cook...Thank goodness hes not on when I am. A good cook is worth his eccentricities. Trust me...never point out any change which might upset a cook worth keeping. Â Â Â
Red Cat Jenny Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 How about pointing out some soap? On a separate note...do we still own that bottle tucked so far away in the Kate's spirit locker...The one well covered in dust and memories? William Brand Posted March 12, 2008 Author Posted March 12, 2008 Aye, we do, but unfortunately I set up a booby-trap around it and I can't remember how to safely remove it. More's the pity. Â Â Â
Capt. Sterling Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Easy just send a booby to go fetch it... Ransom Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 Ooo, that looks tasty. I could use something warm and filling — it's cold and rainy here. (BTW, Jill, who's in your fan club?) ...schooners, islands, and maroons and buccaneers and buried gold... You can do everything right, strictly according to procedure, on the ocean, and it'll still kill you. Red-Handed Jill Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 It's rather rainy and gloomy down here as well. Fan club - heh. I belong to an international (primarily European) advice forum - for women, by women. I post the best advice I can, based on what I consider to be common sense. People have been sending emails and responding as if I was a wise swami, who has unlocked the secrets of the universe. And it looks like some of my advice will probably be published in a book this summer.
Capt. Sterling Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 Hey congratulations and btw ye can make my lunch any time! Perfection! Red-Handed Jill Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 Speaking of food, it's about time for a mid-afternoon snack:
