CrazyCholeBlack
Oh Mr. Red Wake & Miss Red Cat, I could use some Plague-water & a bowl of China-broth, if I may. Maybe that will kill off this cold before it knocks me down for the rest of the month. Red Cat Jenny
MIss Ashcombe comes from the hearth humming a tune and carrying Scottish Steak Pies and a Traditional Scottish Dessert Cranachan which is so good, she shares the recipie.. Cranachan This is a popular Scottish dessert and there are many variations and names such as Cream Crowdie. Recipe Ingredients: 3 oz (half cup) pinhead or coarse oatmeal Half pint double cream 1 tablespoon Drambuie (optional) Preparation Method: Toast the oatmeal in a frying pan on a high heat until lightly brown. Whisk the cream into a soft consistency and mix in the oatmeal and Drambuie (alternatively, use a few drops vanilla essence or other flavouring of your choice). Serve in tall glasses. A popular variation is to mix in 6oz (one and a half cups) of fresh raspberries. Or use vanilla ice cream instead of cream. Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help....
