William Brand Posted March 20, 2007 Author Posted March 20, 2007 I would murder an elderly relative for a bowl of soup right now. Aye. Cold blooded murder for a little warm broth. Vile sickness.
Red Cat Jenny Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Served from a safe distance...he..is William Red Wake after all.... Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.... Her reputation was her livelihood. I'm a pirate, love. By nature and by choice! My inner voice sometimes has an accent! My wont? A delicious rip in time...
Silkie McDonough Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 No need for murder William. I make a very good Chicken rice. Hmmmm, you were sick when I met you William. You need to take care of yourself.
William Brand Posted March 20, 2007 Author Posted March 20, 2007 I never kill food bearers as a rule. Besides, I'm not strong enough to kill and it might throw my cautionary appettite a little too much. Thank you for the soup.
Red Cat Jenny Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Anytime...it's nice and hot Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.... Her reputation was her livelihood. I'm a pirate, love. By nature and by choice! My inner voice sometimes has an accent! My wont? A delicious rip in time...
William Brand Posted March 20, 2007 Author Posted March 20, 2007 The worst illness I ever had occured in 1995. I ran a fever so high that many of my friends dropped by to remind me that I didn't have permission to die. In fact, one friend, Audrey, sat next to my sick bed and said many times over, "Don't die, William. Don't die." I had to reassure her many times that I was not going to die anytime soon, what with so many projects left unfinished.
Red Cat Jenny Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 It is a good friend that will sit by your bedside and wish so.. Your a wealthy man in friends and family William..and yes you have too much to do..so get better and hopefully sleep will come.. hmm now I'm hungry.. Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.... Her reputation was her livelihood. I'm a pirate, love. By nature and by choice! My inner voice sometimes has an accent! My wont? A delicious rip in time...
William Brand Posted March 20, 2007 Author Posted March 20, 2007 I believe I am tired enough again to attempt sleep in some form. Goodnight, and mind the larder.
Red Cat Jenny Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Aye sah, I shall... Miss Ashcombe watches the intrepid Captain wrapped in his wife's birthday blanket, amble off to his cabin, quietly mumbling bits of the classics..and wishes him fairer health.. She settles at the hearth with half a scone and another tea and stares into the flickering embers.. Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.... Her reputation was her livelihood. I'm a pirate, love. By nature and by choice! My inner voice sometimes has an accent! My wont? A delicious rip in time...
Maeve O'Treasaigh Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 It's gettin' close to dinner time. Might I please have some bruschetta for an appetizer, and then a nice filet mignon with some kind of potatoes on the side? Blackbead Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Personally . . . I'm thinkin' of a trip to Chili's tonight with Captain Jasper - two cheeseburgers, bottomless fries and bottomless soft drinks for $10. They call it "Twofer Tuesdays" and I just might have to give it a go. It ain't filet mignon but it sure fits me budget these days! Red Cat Jenny Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Certainly Maeve Bruschetta and Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon Would you care to see the wine list? Maeve O'Treasaigh Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Hmm. I'll let you pick the appropriate wine Jenny. I'll have to see if our local Chili's does that Twofer Tuesday. Sounds great! Blackbead Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 Well . . . Captain Jasper and I just returned from the Chili's . . . and were told that not ALL Chili's honor this offer!!! We got great service but NOT the bargain promised by the email I received. Yes . . . I was angry but I only killed two people and maimed a third. CALL before you go! "In the end, it's not the gold that sets our sails, 'Tis freedom and the promise of a better life That raises our black flags."

William Brand Posted March 21, 2007 Author Posted March 21, 2007 Just the other day I was reflecting about the earaches I knew as a child. I haven't had a bad one for years. Today I experienced one for hours that utterly handicapped me. What did I learn...? Never ponder on old ailments. Cosmic irony is hanging over you at all times.
Maeve O'Treasaigh Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 My poor sweetie. You deserve some ice cream with that pie... "Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending" - Maria Robinson
