A few minutes later...I take a seat at a table bathed in the glow of the setting sun, smiling weakly as I take a fork to a cool, sweet summer treat... *pauses to pay compliment* Those are great pictures, Mercenary Wench. I've never been to a ren-faire (cries) but me and some mates are aiming for next year when it comes around again at our... Renaissance Center. I think they do a pirate weekend, but I'm not sure. Bloody bleedin' 'ell.... An' I 'ad ta miss Pennsic this year... I missed NPCH... They best be 'avin' tha' next year.... mebee expant it ta "Nekkid Pyrate Happy Hours..... Hmmmm.......... Yeah - NPCH rocked. What was especially interesting was that the bus stop was plainly within few, between panels of the little sheet wall. We all waved every time it went past... Sorry - I missed your question earlier I'm not sure who built it. It is of course, not really a ship - nor was it ever, I'm sure. Just built to look like it, when the faire first opened, or shortly thereafter. It's one of the older parts of the faire. Just a faniciful shaped building to sell weapons out of. Homemade Andouille sausage, sweet onions, garlic, bell peppers, and celery, topped with swiss and Gruyere cheese. :) I can't wait to get into the kitchen! Yo ho ho! Or does nobody actually say that? Earlier today my four month old son and I were on our way to the university to pick up my wife, I was struck by an SUV running a red light. I pulled over and stopped my car. The damage was minor, and I was grateful that neither Liam or I was hurt. The woman who struck us pulled over immediately and I phoned the police department on my cell phone. The woman looked at me while I was calling and she remained there while I was on the phone. I turned to check on Liam for the second time, but when I turned back, she was gone. Hit and run. A man walked up to me with his bike and informed me that he was nearly struck by the same driver. In fact, if he hadn't braked, he would have been run down. He had a partial license plate and the make and model of the car. The police arrived, took our information, and five hours later they showed up at my door with her insurance information. I asked them what happened. Evidently, the 60 year old woman left due to a "bathroom emergency". The officer didn't elaborate and I didn't ask him to. If they hadn't found her I'd be shelling out money to fix my car since I only have liability, not collision. The Moral of the Story: Always be sure to go before you leave on a drive. Most of the time I absolutely love driving, but every once in awhile it can be quite scary and ye realize how many near-misses and close calls we all have every day.
